FAQ

How old should my baby be for a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are best scheduled when the baby is between 7–21 days old. Sessions are booked in advance, and the final date is confirmed once the baby arrives.

What if my baby is older than the recommended newborn age?

Beautiful images can still be created even if your baby is older than the recommended newborn age. Please keep in mind that the workflow and posing may vary based on your baby’s age and comfort. For more details and personalized guidance, please contact me directly.

Do we need to bring anything for the session?

The studio provides everything needed for your baby’s session. Parents are only asked to bring their baby, milk for feedings, a favorite blanket, and a pacifier (if used), as it can be very helpful throughout the session.

What if my baby arrives early or late?

No worries. Your session date will be adjusted based on your baby’s arrival to ensure the best experience and results.

Do you offer family or sibling photos?

Parent & Baby portraits are available as an optional add-on with any newborn package.
Sibling portraits are available as an upgrade.

Are unedited images included?

No. Unedited or RAW images are not delivered. Clients may purchase additional fully retouched images separately.

How long does a newborn session last?

Session length varies depending on the selected package and baby’s cooperation. Wrapped sessions are typically shorter, while Deluxe and Premium sessions require more time. Family add-ons are scheduled at the end of the session.

Can I bring my own outfits or props?

Yes. Clients may bring their own outfit, which will count toward the total number of outfits included in the selected package. While personal outfits are welcome, for consistency, styling, and overall visual cohesion, I highly recommend selecting outfits from the studio’s client closet, as these pieces are carefully curated specifically for newborn photography.

What if I don’t want to use the client closet?

Use of the client closet is optional and does not affect the package price.

Can I choose the colors or setups?

Yes. Set selection is a collaborative process with the photographer. After booking, a gallery of previously styled sets will be shared for inspiration. From there, sets may be recreated, adapted, or newly designed, as long as they are created using the props, outfits, and wraps available in the studio.

Is the booking fee refundable?

No. The booking fee is non-refundable and is required to secure your session date. It will be applied toward your total session balance.

When will I receive my photos?

Within 5 business days after your session (excluding weekends and holidays), the photographer will provide a PROOFING GALLERY.
Your FINAL GALLERY will be available within 15 business days after you confirm the selection of your photos (excluding weekends and holidays).

Can I book only family photos without a newborn session?

No. Family and Parent & Baby portraits are offered only as add-ons and are not available as standalone sessions.

Can I wear one of the studio’s maternity dresses for my newborn session?

Yes. Studio maternity dresses are available for mothers for an additional $50 fee and may be used exclusively when Parent & Baby portraits are included.
